2. Principles of this website

This website is deliberately built to be data-minimising. The pages themselves set no cookies, contain no tracking or analytics code, embed no third-party content (no external fonts, maps, videos or social media plugins) and create no user profiles. All fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are delivered from our own web space. Independently of this, our hosting provider records access data on the server side — see sections 3 and 5.

3. Server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. This is generally:

• Browser type and version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing device
• Time of the server request
• IP address

The IP address is anonymised at the point of collection. This data is not merged with other data sources and is not passed to third parties. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation of the website and in IT security. According to our hosting provider, this access data is stored for eight weeks and then deleted.

4. Contact and enquiry form

The enquiry form on this website does not transmit any data to our server. When you press the send button, the entries you have made are transferred to your own e-mail programme and only leave your device when you actively send the e-mail yourself. If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, your details will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply (generally 6 or 10 years under commercial and tax law).

5. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers within the European Union. The provider processes personal data transmitted via this website only to the extent necessary to fulfil its performance obligations and in accordance with our instructions. We have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with the provider.

As part of the hosting service, IONOS operates a server-side access statistic (“IONOS WebAnalytics”). It works without cookies and without any code in these pages; the evaluation is based on the server log files described in section 3. Recorded are referrer, requested page, browser and operating system, device type, time of access and the anonymised IP address, which is used solely to determine an approximate region. No data is passed to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address line of your browser changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol.

7. Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information about the personal data stored about you, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing (Art. 15 GDPR), as well as the right to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You can contact us at any time at the address given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.

8. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services.
